“Kill My Lonely” is Toronto-based production duo Free N Losh‘s latest touchdown. The song evokes a timeless human experience: falling in love. The song features confident vocals from Spotify-anointed artist to watch Allan Rayman, who sings about yearning for company. And certain lines, like, Someone come and kill my lonely/ I’ll kill all my words all for you only, stir up adolescent anxieties, as does the the ticking alarm clock at the start of the song.
“Allan brought us out to Lost Springs [ed. note: this is code for “a secret space”] to work on a project,” wrote Free n Losh in an email to The FADER about the song’s origins. “We spent a weekend with good food, good drink, and good company. When it was all said and done, this record is what we were left with.”
